As an organisation we are committed to the regeneration of our communities through the creation of training opportunities, jobs and enterprise.
As an organisation we work with a wide range of employers and accrediting bodies and indeed are striving to create sustainable jobs within our own organisation.
We also are committed to supporting those individuals who wish to develop their own businesses.
The Board of Directors of BFE have agreed to utilise an area of our main workshop area overlooking the River Tyne to be developed as an Enterprise Support Unit comprising 6-8 small office units to fully support local entrepreneurs in realising their business aspiration.
Directors have also committed to practical support of these new businesses in acting as business mentors.
Fully supported accommodation would be offered for a 3 year period with rent on a reducing subsidy.
