Square One
This innovative programme offers employers the opportunity to provide a placement for a local young person (16-25) ready for real work and mentor them within their workplace.
This is on a six month basis and the employer can introduce them to the world of work and adulthood.
Many young people taking part in this programme are now enjoying successful careers with the employers who gave them that first step on the ladder.
The employer benefits from an extra pair of hands from only £1.00 per hour and does not have to worry about any paperwork as the project takes care of that.
