Work Club

Access to the appropriate skills and resources to obtain sustained employment lies at the heart of operations at Building Futures East. Based in one of the most deprived wards in Newcastle, we are challenged daily to provide solutions for the local community that raise employability skills and aspirations.

Our vocational training courses provide robust skills development opportunities to learners and to complement this, we have now created our own Work Club. In turn, our Work Club provides the opportunity for job search, IT training, CV building, information sharing and review of employment vacancies. This service offer ensures we are providing the best possible opportunity for individuals to gain real skills, alongside a forum where vacancies can be publicised and interview/application skills can be enhanced. Our job boards are updated weekly with current vacancy information and the strong connections we have with local and national employers ensures that we can share the very latest sector employment information.

This is a free service and can be signposted to via Jobcentre Plus or other partners we work with. To ensure we have sufficient spaces in our IT suite, we encourage pre-booking of places wherever possible.
